Literacy is a key foundation for a healthy and vibrant community. In supporting this vision Jas has volunteered for Surrey Public Library for the past 8 years. She has served as Board Chair for 3 terms and is the Chair of the Literacy for Life Campaign. Accomplishments during her time have included: successfully advocating for and opening the new City Centre Library; the DIVERSECity Diversity Award; and the Business Excellence Award.
To help support literacy in our City, Jas's family chose a leadership gift to support the Surrey Public Library's Literacy for Life Campaign. The funds were designated to the Storytimes to Help Learn English program.
